Mohammad Khansari received his B.S, M.S and PhD degrees in Computer Engineering all from Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran, in 1996, 1998 and 2008 respectively. He is one of the contributors of the Advanced Information and Communication Technology research Center (AICTC) of Sharif University, and the director of Iran Free/Open Source (FOSS) national project (formerly Persian Linux) in AICTC for four years of running the project. He had a short-time research fellowship from DAAD, Germany at IPSI-Fraunhofer research institute. He has given more than sixty invited talks on FOSS and GNU/Linux localization topics in Iran and International conferences such as UNCTAD FOSS Expert meeting 2004, United Nation WSIS 2005 (Tunisia) and FLOSSWorld 2005 (India), LinuxAsia 2007 and IOSN summit (hosted by UNDP in India) and LinuxTag 2007 (Germany). He is the co-author of four books in Free/Open Source Software topics and has more than sixty papers in reputable international journals and conferences. His main research interests are nnetwork science and complex networks, wireless multimedia/health sensor networks, health care Information systems and Free/Open Source Software (FOSS). He served as faculty member and assistant professor at School of Science and Engineering, Sharif International campus, Kish Island, head of Information Technology faculty and faculty member, head of Information Technology faculty and director (CEO) of Iran Telecommunication Research Center and director of Information Techology and Cyberspace Center of University of Tehran. Currently, He is the faculty member (Associate Professor) of Faculty of New Sciences and Technologies, University of Tehran.
محمد خوانساری مدارک کارشناسی مهندسی نرمافزار، کارشناسی ارشد مهندسی سختافزار و دکتری مهندسی کامپیوتر را از دانشکده مهندسی کامپیوتر دانشگاه صنعتی شریف به ترتیب درسالهای ۱۳۷۵، ۱۳۷۷ و ۱۳۸۷دریافت کرده است. او یکی از مشارکتکنندگان اصلی راهاندازی مرکز پژوهشی فناوری اطلاعات و ارتباطات پیشرفته دانشگاه صنعتی شریف است. ایشان دارای بیش از ۱۸ سال سابقه فعالیتهای اجرایی – پژوهشی در حوزه فناوری اطلاعات است که از آن جمله میتوان به به راهبری سیستمهای اطلاعرسانی مدیریت در نهاد ریاست جمهوری، عضویت در کمیته انفورماتیک دفتر همکاریهای فناوری ریاست جمهوری، مشارکت در پروژه پژوهشی مشترک با دانشگاه فنی وین، معاون گروه پردازش سیگنال و چندرسانهای مرکز تحقیقات مخابرات، مدیر طرح ملی نرمافزارهای آزاد/متنباز (لینوکس فارسی) در کل چهار سال انجام طرح و ریاست پژوهشکده فناوری اطلاعات مرکز تحقیقات مخابرات ایران (پژوهشگاه ارتباطات و فناوری اطلاعات)، رئیس مرکز فناوری اطلاعات و فضای مجازی دانشگاه تهران و رئیس مرکز تحقیقات مخابرات ایران نام برد. او دارای یک بورس تحقیقاتی از موسسه DAAD آلمان است و در خصوص موضوعات مرتبط با حوزه نرمافزارهای آزاد/متنباز در بیش از ۶۰ کنفرانس و سمینار و کارگاه داخلی و خارجی مانند کنفرانس توسعه تجارت سازمان ملل در ژنو، اجلاس جامعه اطلاعاتی سازمان ملل تونس و برنامه توسعه سازمان ملل در دهلینو به ارائه سخنرانی پرداخته است. راهنمایی بیش از ۴۰ دانشجوی کارشناسی ارشد و تألیف و ترجمه پنج کتاب و حدود ۷۰ مقاله در کنفرانسهای و مجلات معتبر بینالمللی تخصصی از نتایج کارهای پژوهشی ایشان است. ایشان به مدت دو سال استادیار گروه مهندسی فناوری اطلاعات پردیس بینالملل دانشگاه صنعتی شريف در جزیره کیش بوده است و از سال ۱۳۹۰ به عنوان عضو هیات علمی گروه علوم و فناوری شبکه در دانشکده علوم و فنون نوین دانشگاه تهران مشغول به آموزش و پژوهش میباشد. ایشان مؤسس گرایش بینرشتهای مهندسی سامانههای شبکهای در کارشناسی ارشد مهندسی فناوری اطلاعات در کشور هستند. زمینههای پژوهشی ایشان عبارتند از: علوم شبکه و شبکههای پیچیده، شبکههای سنسور بیسیم چندرسانهای و سلامت، نرمافزارهای آزاد/متنباز، سیستمهای اطلاعات سلامت.
